Amazing how one rhetorical thought across news channels seeps into public opinion so fast.

"We're seeing less collective movement surrounding issues that once had so much" as if ongoing protests are directly correlated with public concern and therefore media coverage. This rhetoric is divisive and it's already spreading.

I have long struggled with valuing my own voice. If I would encourage others to speak up, I have no reason to stay quiet myself.

Check in on where you’re existing between doomscrolling, political hobbyism, and staying informed.

You can find many things in the depths of hopelessness. Maybe defiance, maybe Lady Liberty’s inscription. You’ll never know if you’re numb to it.

We have to preserve electoral competition and that means more than just worrying about the rules for fair elections. It means vigorously protecting our rights to speak, assemble, organize, and recruit candidates. Because if we can’t do that the elections won’t matter.
