I didn't know who she was or what this story was. Having now read about it - wild! What a thing to do at work!

Wild that they apparently never found room for Michael Cole, who was still working regularly in the early 90s.
A second member of the Mod Squad just showed up in the middle of Twin Peaks season 2!
Peggy Lipton has owned the diner the whole time, but now Clarence Williams III is here as an FBI agent.
Who is your birthday twin?
On December 30, I get two - count 'em 2 - Monkees!
I really need to read the whole Grant/Breyfogle run. I've been meaning to for years.
A 2nd grader just said "I saw a bee in there" but I thought he said "I saw Being There" so I thought he was a Hal Ashby fan.
Turns out he isn't.
The Traveling Wilburys, of course
Thanks to @toughpigs.com's own Joe Hennes, who isn't on Bluesky, for taking these!
When Nick-at-Nite started running The Lucy Show in 1991, I was six years old. I assumed it was brand new because it was in color, and I excitedly told my mom that Lucy had a new show.
I was *astounded* when she looked at the TV and said "No, this was on when I was your age."
@meryanroe.bsky.social and I have been co-hosting a podcast since 2017, but we hadn't seen in each other in person since 2013. This weekend, we finally corrected that, and now we have official Movin' Right Along photos to treasure.

Don Adams and William Christopher doing Groucho and Danny impressions in The Five Columbos is the best thing about this
Wow, Liz from Gilmore Girls is in this episode of Twin Peaks. Probably just a coincidence.
You remember how the newspaper TV listings would have reader questions answered?
I was SHOOK when I read that the mom from Growing Pains and the mom from Charles in Charge weren't sisters or otherwise related despite both being blonde women with the last name "Kerns".
The thing about Spaceballs is that the first one also isn't as funny as you want it to be.
The Austin Powers actor is also Myers.
"Michael Meyers" is no one of note.

My thing I often say about having kids is that the bad parts are repetitive and tedious, but the good parts are always surprising and exciting.
Key people in the area:
That's absolutely bananas!
AI star symbol.
It's funny (not funny) how this ubiquitous symbol screams 'beware, incoming trash!' I have an instant reaction of revulsion whenever it pops up.
When I was a kid in the 90s, all we ever heard about was skyrocketing population. I remember reading about it in Weekly Reader in 3rd grade (1993), and I was terrified that we'd run out of room
I truly believe this is an underrated reason for why Millenials have fewer kids than previous generations
Klobuchar isn't my #1 favorite politician, but there's zero chance she'll lose to My Pillow
A formative one for me too!

Oh man, I've never read a novelization of a musical. Do you own these? Is this a photo of items in your home?
When I was in 3rd grade, my teacher had a copy of the novelization of Return to Oz, a movie adapted from two other books.
Those full-colorful photos were my introduction to the visuals of that movie, and they consumed my thoughts.
What's your favorite weird novelization?
He repeatedly says "Billie Jean is not my lover" which is a little stronger than "That kid isn't mine"
I'm not saying he's a reliable narrator, but that line certainly suggests that he's never, um, known her.
