BREAKING: Result of vote by councillors on Mayor Moran's controversial Limerick housing development Mayor John Moran suffers defeat on Janesboro modular housing plan as councillors invoke emergency legislation

"...pointed out it was councillors themselves in the development plan had zoned the park land as 'city centre' making it appropriate for housing."
Whatever about this particular scheme, it's clear that FF & FG are doing everything they can to block Morans agenda

NEW ☘️

When Anna McGann was greeted onto the field by a rambunctious roar from the stands, you realised that this close-knit parasocial relationship between stands and team is a driving factor behind the support.

It’s a new type of connection, but it counts.

Munster should not have hired this guy.
Another unnecessary misstep, especially with McMillan having gone all in in his defence

They've done weekend meetings to sort all of this out. They've never done anything of the like to help the children they have made homeless. The only time they've shown any determination throughout the housing crisis was in making sure the evictions ban disappeared. This is unsustainable.

this government’s approach, for a very long time, has been to project powerlessness in the face of every inconvenience. to blame “global megatrends” as Varadkar did in his goodbye speech. to make the public feel insane for even suggesting that the government can solve problems.
