Dear world, how about a giant search-and-replace of
DEI -> IDE. Same concept, different order. That way those afraid of "inclusion, diversity, and equity" will have little recourse without also erasing tides, brides, double wides, snarky asides, hunting guides, slip-n-slides, & political divides.

I start to despair for the United States, but then I remember the inclusive generosity that was Schitt's Creek. And then I remember that it was made by Canadians. And then I despair.

I quit Instagram today. I was lurking there for the writing community. But my suggested reels morphed from wiggly puppies at the front door awaiting parents to violent dogs severely shaking smaller siblings. I see you, bots, trying to flood my head with ugly. Where’d you learn that?

I started making a list of journalists on Substack, but that doesn’t seem to be their flocking spot. Not sure where is.
