Still can’t fully comprehend how Jac Morgan did this.

To smash three competing players off the same ball… while staying on his feet and through the gate… twice! In one ruck!

The combination of power, technique and awareness to do that… absolutely S-tier stuff.

Almost everything we argue about is a substitute for the thing we should be arguing about: the immense wealth & power of an oligarchic class, which captures governments, ruins lives and wrecks the living planet.
This class redirects our rage at scapegoats. To resist its lies is to resist its power.

January polling showed Plaid winning and with 3 seats, Labour still with 1 along with reform, again the final seat is between greens and reform

I don't remember an election without a made-up polling scandal, but this from the greens is pretty persuasive.

It's hard to get out of first-past-the-post mentality though...

How the Welsh Rugby Union destroyed its own National Team | A Squidge Rugby Deep Dive YouTube video by Squidge Rugby

This ought to be essential viewing! 📺

@squidgerugby.bsky.social raises very important points about Welsh identity, and the wider cultural meaning of decline and neglect. As a proud Welshman, I always love seeing Wales performing on an international level, so this really hit me #Wales #Welsh #Rugby

This is a fantastic video that really is about the state of the world generally rather than just Welsh rugby.

7 hours of silence from the Prime Minister.

The US is using UK bases. The President is openly talking about destroying a civilisation.

And Downing Street says... nothing.

If you won’t speak up now, when will you?

Greta Thunberg: “The President of the United States just said that a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again & no one is reacting. This speaks for itself: what the fuck is anyone even doing at this point? We have normalized total annihilation of entire people.”

Like… We cannot go ahead and have the World Cup now like nothing is going on. Regardless of what does or doesn’t happen tonight. Countries should simply refuse to send teams. The rest of the world cannot treat us as a remotely normal country after this

It's now been 3 hours since our supposed "ally" Donald Trump threatened genocide on a country of 93 million people.

We've had absolutely nothing from the UK government.

This doesn't come in a vacuum either - every day the US & Israel have been murdering innocent people.

Who's got a piece of Wes Streeting?

Who's got a piece of Wes Streeting?

Wes Streeting having the chutzpah to tell the story about the NHS.

He doesn't tell the bit about how much he's accepted from private healthcare and the risk our NHS is at under this Labour Government.

And most of all, lots of questions about his meetings with Palantir.

A very long and important THREAD -

The real reason the US is invading Venezuela goes back to a deal Henry Kissinger made with Saudi Arabia in 1974.

And I'm going to explain why this is actually about the SURVIVAL of the US dollar itself.

Not drugs. Not terrorism. Not "democracy." 1/

Dear Shabana,
I notice today that you referred to me in your speech on immigration at the IPPR think tank.
You said: “A party leader should not be on the beaches of France encouraging people to
make a perilous crossing on small boats.”
I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised especially after the hateful Labour campaign in Gorton
and Denton, but this is just the latest in a string of lies peddled by a discredited Government
who intentionally fan the flames of racism and division.
When I went to Calais, I was not there to encourage people to travel to the UK. I was there
to see at first hand the suffering your Government and successive Governments have done
in demonising migrants in a pathetic bid to pander to the base instincts of Reform and the
flawed strategy of Morgan McSweeney.
As you will know, if you even bothered to research my visit instead of taking Reform talking
points, I was there to witness the brutality of families living in tents in freezing temperatures. I
filled water tanks and picked up litter.
What that visit did do is confirm my belief that if we are to smash the boat gangs and stop
the boats, we need to offer safer and managed routes for migrants to come to this country.
Showing compassion as a politician is not a crime. In fact, we need to see much more of it.
It reminded me of a young MP who in October 2015 spent three days in Lesbos helping
migrants fleeing war-torn Syria. She posted videos on X, talked about handing out water and
croissants to refugees and food parcels.
When she returned to the UK, she wrote a very moving piece in the New Statesman. She
said “we have to work with our European partners and create new, safe, and legal routes for
refugees to get to Europe. We cannot abandon them to their fate, left as prey for smugglers
whilst risking death on the seas.”
She said “maybe we can make ourselves feel better by saying no-one is making them get on
the boats. And again, the Home Secretary is not entirely wrong when …

Dear Shabana,

Let's clear some things up around migration and remember we're talking about people's lives.

The UK's permission for the US to use its bases in attacking Iran amounts to complicity in the crime of aggression. It drags us into what could be an endless war, without democratic or even parliamentary consent.

Israel has been continuously bombing Lebanon almost every day for over a year. Anyone who tells you “Hezbollah broke the ceasefire” is either lying to you, or is just so incredibly biased that their brain genuinely doesn’t register Israeli bombings of Lebanon as ceasefire violations.

A new study finds Israel’s assault on the Gaza Strip killed far more Palestinians than initially reported. Writing in The Lancet medical journal, researchers found there were over 75,000 violent deaths in the first 16 months of Israel’s assault.

So, Welsh rugby success is back to making England feel they can easily take on a side that can't beat Italy

If sport is the new opium of the masses, distracting from injustice etc, maybe we should focus on building a better Wales now? Because this can't be helping anyone forget their problems...
