Now the second release sounded more earnest and melancholic - more mature, even - while still rocking that psychedelic knack they have.

At first I disliked it. Then I heard it again, and again, and a week later it was my favourite album of all times.

I'll never forget what happened when MGMT dropped their 2nd album, Congratulations. Everyone expected another Oracular Spectacular, and it was so different.

Contratulations lacked that dancing, new-agey irony of their first release.

I also think it doesn't necessarially translates for a better gaming experience!

I think part of the fun of playing against the computer is the player feeling they identify the pattern on the machine's behaviour, and outsmart it.

Open ended #gamedesign inquiry:

Playing against an adaptative AI inherently makes for a better gaming experience?

In other words: we know it's more challenging if the machine learns from your moves. But, this automatically translates to a better experience for the player, in terms of having fun?
