I got some money last year from a funder and it means that I can redistribute those funds to young artists who have been criminalized. I wish we had more funding so we could do more but we will do what we can with what we have.
I know we're eventually going to win the library funding fight cuz my elderly neighbor cornered me yesterday in the laundry room and told me that she is recruiting her crew to lobby the city council, lol. She added that she will also be focusing on the Mayor "who she took a chance on" in her vote.
