This team went from the best record in baseball to absolute garbage in a week. Every night, some aspect of the pitching staff implodes. Every night, the bats are mostly silent. Then add poor fielding, baserunning, and managerial decisions. We’re a complete mess with no end in sight. #lgm

Forget last September. The #mets didn’t exorcise anything. Playing in Atlanta is pure kryptonite for this franchise. Will it ever end? So tired of this. It’s been over 25 years of the same thing.

Even in a best case, the Mets have too many starts from Montas, Blackburn, and Canning coming in the next month. Give McLean a shot. Last night was uncompetitive from the jump.

The best case #Mets starting rotation over the next month is littered with starts from Blackburn, Canning, and Montas. I don't buy for a second that a look at Nolan McLean would only be for one start if he pitches well. We can't give up non-competitive games like last night on a regular basis. #lgm

Same. Going tomorrow and that’s the worst game of the series. My son has never seen the Mets win in Atlanta. He’s 16 and lived here his entire life. It’s so depressing.
