Still going to be busy with an incredibly good friend for a while.. I'll get back to the usual horseshit eventually.

Still at a very good friend's place, no net, and I'll be back sooner or later.
I'm all good, just spending time at a good friend's place.
I'll get the show playlists updated for all 0 of you who care later.
No, not this specific episode, I meant being a radio DJ in the first place!

Last night's episode.. heard it live when in a car with someone else. This may be one of the better things I've ever done, and certainly the best in the last 20 years. For myself, at least.
The Video Game History Foundation's newly digitized GDC 1989 tapes are rad. Talks with Dani Bunten! Trip Hawkins blasting Nintendo's licensing policies! A *retrospective* panel for gaming in 1980! Absolute gold that this stuff survived and is accessible for everyone now.
Just got back from recording and editing episodes 51 and 52 - a full calendar year of my show now. That has to be a major kilometer rock, or cubit pebble or.. oh yeah, milestone.
I don't recommend slamming your head into a door accidentally, just for the record. On purpose? Depends on the purpose, I suppose.

Tonight's show, spoilers for the last couple songs if you're listening live.
Would Rastan count as deep cleavage action for adults?
Didn't the Doug Anthony All Stars cover this already?

I'm now able to add more information about each show to OmnyMusic (the archive system the radio station uses), so you can now see playlists, and where there is one, the theme of the show.

Makes sense. I suppose I'm more used to a candle being goth lighting, or power failures. :)
I might be the dumbest guy on Earth, or might just need to go to bed after a long day, but how would you burn a wickless candle?
A dickhead in a radio studio behind a mic with an "I love 99.7 Denmark FM" bumper sticker on his forehead. Scraggly beard, glasses pushed up on head and old yellow t-shirt, I'll leave you in suspense whether there's pants or not.
This is why I don't take a lot of selfies.
So, no? :)
Quite proud of the shoegaze themed show I recorded and edited tonight, you might even hear it in a couple months if Iran doesn't win World War III and ban community radio.
Should I do anything in particular for my 50th episode of the radio show?
The McRib wasn't THAT good.

Recorded 4 shows last night.. I am all that is DJ.
Even managed to not use a single New Order track.. I'm complaining, not bragging.
A lot of MSI hasn't aged very well, but..

Does Omnissa explain it all?
I would've gone with "If you're so smart explain this Omnissa", but I don't know if you're a Mindless Self Indulgence fan.
Why am I getting such a huge Japanese city pop vibe from the SPK "Machine Age Voodoo" album?
I've had two Wico rotary joysticks (Ikari Warriors et al) for decades and never understood why it had 2 of 12 directions with extra components.
Tonight I finally beat my head against it until I figured it out. It's now on the GameSX wiki:
Everything you never asked about the Wico rotary joystick.
I would've translated it into Darius, much better franchise.
I always wanted a thing called tuna sashimi...

If you want to get weird, try recording a new show in one studio booth while the other is playing a monitor of your show live to air. Tonight's show was cover themed.. the aired one. The new one? You'll find out if you keep listening.
Is it odd that my "listen to this until you no longer want to smash the universe into a tiny cube" go to play list is:
- Depeche Mode "I Feel Loved"
- New Order "Broken Promise"
and the entire Strapping Young Lad album "City"?
If so, too damn bad.
