pmd2 released in the modern era would have a postgame that’s just the blizzard island rescue and then you got to pay 30$ for the Darkrai plotline and dripfed all 5 special episodes over the span of a year and a half

See I don't mind paying extra for DLC in a few months/years if the base game is good by itself
