I hate war. I hate murder. I hate when my government murders other people in my name. I hate when my government prepares to round up young men in my country to go murder people in another country. Again, it’s wrong. It’s immoral. It shouldn’t be happening. No excuses.

When you drop a bomb on civilians, I think that’s murder. I don’t really care for any justifications. They’re people. The enormity of the loss is devastating and it’s easier for some people to look away. But for other people, that’s their family. Their children. It’s just sickening and so wrong.

If we bought a few less bombs, we could probably afford nice things.

One thing I'd like to see from the next presidency would be to appoint a special commission to prepare a report on the actual cost to defend the United States from attack.
