If he's going to get a national profile on the strength of a younger woman's campaign, I'm going to come out and say it: during his short-lived tenure as a math professor, Biss had an inappropriate romantic relationship with one of his undergraduate students. I was that student.

North Carolina Democrats latest to chart future of the party in congressional primary In a safe Democratic seat in North Carolina, a match-up between a two-term Congresswoman and a progressive local official show how Democrats are charting the future of their party in the age of Trump.

Keep an eye on the race. Hakeem Jeffries has funneled money from AIPAC to help Foushee who said she won't take AIPAC money.

Primary season is now. This is a one shot moment to really move Democrats to positions that are aligned with the majority and justice.

A Super PAC with ties to Hakeem Jeffries is spending over $600k on defeating progressive candidate Nida Allam.

The spending is going to Valerie Foushee, who in her words "represents corporations" and corporate interests.

They want you to vote for them so they can ignore your needs.

I'm in this district and now I know exactly what it looks like when big companies try to jump in and buy an election for Val. Ugh

Article One PAC, the shadowy group with some ties to House Democratic leaders, is up to $600,000 in spending for Valerie Foushee late in her primary against Nida Allam. Initially the expectation was $300,000.
There's some thought that this is laundered AIPAC money.

Did new Foushee ad in heated NC-4 primary make false claims about Allam? Allam sent a cease-and-desist letter to Foushee and local TV stations asking for the “categorically false” ad to be pulled.

Foushee has said she's against Bernie's and Nida's proposed data center moratorium, right?

Feels like Foushee is once again being bought by special interests to keep her seat

It's up to $700,000 now.

The Young, Inexperienced Engineers Aiding Elon Musk's Government Takeover Engineers between 19 and 24, most linked to Musk’s companies, are playing a key role as he seizes control of federal infrastructure.

The men carrying out Musk's coup are Akash Bobba, Edward Coristine, Luke Farritor, Gautier Cole Killian, Gavin Kliger, and Ethan Shaotran.

Make them famous. And, eventually, when possible, arrest them and charge them with multiple felonies. www.wired.com/story/elon-m...

This is MY district too. Last time it was AIPAC and crypto. The AI and datacenter companies have bought Valerie Foushee once again.

That Apex datacenter will raise our electric bills in the district. And use the profits to buy politicians like Foushee.

Only Nida Allam is against the datacenter

Allam is against AI datacenters and supports more AI regulation

Foushee supports AI datacenters and hasn't proposed any AI regulation.

A pro-datacenter/AI super PAC is now spending $1 million+ to support Foushee.

She doesn't oppose it unfortunately. We in the district have been organizing against this and asking her to come out and oppose it.

An AI/datacenter company is now spending hundreds of thousands to back Foushee. It's very frustrating for us locals that Foushee doesn't back a datacenter moratorium.

Foushee's primary opponent in NC-04 (not 3) is progressive Nida Allam - endorsed by Bernie Sanders and MoveOn.
The primary is MARCH 3 ‼️

Foushee has taken almost $3M in pro-genocide AIPAC money, in addition to the crypto and other oligarch money ‼️

A Super PAC supported by a big AI tech company has placed a six-figure ad buy for Nida’s opponent, Valerie Foushee.

They’re doing this because they know we can win, and that scares them.

False, it has already declared its donors

Meanwhile, one of the Super PACs supporting Foushee, Rolling Sea Action Fund, has not declared its donors. It had $10k in the bank at the end of last year, and is suddenly spending hundreds of thousands on Valerie Foushee. Where's the money coming from?

Dear NC:

Vote Nida Allam and reject Valerie Foushee who is everything WRONG in politics. Valerie is bought and paid for, up down and sideways. Enough of that nonsense.

Here is a video of ICE terrorizing children.

Valerie Foushee thinks ICE should have body cameras, as if that would change anything. Allam would fight to end this entirely by fighting to abolish ICE. Help us stop these thugs completely. Vote for Nida Allam.

Seems like she does vote for the things they whip on pretty reliably, as far as I can tell. Not sure how this makes her someone worth voting for again. But we can just agree to disagree; have a good one!

2 months ago 1 0 1 0

Don't think that's the bar. Almost everyone in Congress votes with crypto and AIPAC (and the new AI lobby) - so those votes are never really in danger of failing with the current crop of members

But some folks want a rep who will take a tough vote against these powerful lobbies.
