👉 As the SFDRR enters its final phase, future efforts must prioritize cross-sectoral approaches that integrate disaster risk reduction (DRR) principles in immediate relief and long-term development to enhance resilience and mitigate future risks.

👉 Humanitarianism and disaster-related actions share overlapping goals and actions, but oftenly differ in funding, frameworks, and focus, necessitating clearer collaborative efforts. Greater alignment between humanitarian and disaster actors are essential for an effective disaster response

👉 The SFDRR presents limited consideration of, and application in, conflict-affected scenarios. This hinders efforts to address the political aspects of disaster-related actions and prevents effective disaster response and risk reduction in fragile, conflict-affected, and vulnerable (FCV) scenarios
