My weird flash piece about an Italian reincarnated as a glob of old hair conditioner is out today in @thecoloredlens.bsky.social. It’s the first time my names appeared on a cover so I’m absolutely chuffed. Check it out here:

Dead chuffed to have a story in this excellent anthology. Haven't finished reading all the excellent writing in it yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

My story "Small Sacks of Children" is out now in After Happy Hour's second chance issue, featuring work from magazines that are now defunct. This story was in Daily Science Fiction and is about building a wall with small children. Read it (and the rest) here (via downloadable PDF).

Check out my story, The Pat Test, and all the other great writing in this issue of The Hooghly Review! I wrote this story a couple of years ago based on some of my own experiences living in mountain towns.
I have a soft spot for metafiction and this one is fantastic. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
Really enjoyed this short story from a Apex. A little old but still fantastic.

Good news everyone: my least-publishable story has been published. It's only a thousand words and I promise that, while reading it, you will mutter "what the fuck, Sasha" under your breath. CW: butt plugs and body horror.

I did say “what the fuck, Sasha”. That was kinda awful, kinda great. Disgusting and amazing at the same time. Thanks? Maybe? (But, seriously, very good).
Glad to have "Dead Men's Fingernails" up on The Fabulist today: fabulistmagazine.com/dead-mens-fi...
Her touch was so hot it stung. Drops of sweat gathered along my back and slid down my spine. “Oh,” I said.
“My mother used to say: cold hands, warm heart.” She laughed.
I did too, the way you laugh at such things.

Great read, this. Weird, funny sci-fi with a great lead character and depth.

Quote from opening chapter:
"I don’t like being made of toe. I’d rather be a swan feather or something, even though I guess that would be less human."
Thanks J.R! It means a lot to me to hear that.
