Yesterday we began. He watched the director's cut of Blade Runner and later 1917.
Earned his money.
Didn't grouse.
And really came away impressed by 1917!

My son wanted to make money, but is adverse to certain chores, and autistic, so we came to an impasse.
He also gets bored quickly watching movies.
So I came up w. a fix: to get him to watch cinematic classics, I pay him. He has to watch the whole movie politely. Pay ranges from $2-5.

But my mom would go down the slide with all us kids, and made me fun Halloween costumes, and carried a backpack instead of a purse long before that became a thing. 🫶🏻
