I'd say to start with the basics and easy stuff/exercises like:
-A ball bouncing
-A pendulum swinging
-Turn arounds
-Walks / Runs
etc.etc. so you can get used to it and to remind oneself of the basic principles.
One of the best reference books is "The Animator Survival Kit" by Richard Williams.
