Always enjoy doing a little pixel art when my students get to that assignment.

Mock cover for Absolute Flash. Wally is a red, eldritch creature who's form is made up of energy formed like bones and muscles. He is holding Barry's skull. Lightning crackles around hum. He perches in a ruined city.

Was absolutely (hah) taken by the eldritch horror for of Wally in #2, so had to draw my own take!

Two plush animals stand side by side. The Coyote on the left is in a green jumper. The fox on the right had blue overalls. Both wear a white shirt with sunflowers.

After spending worrying long at one distribution center and then getting put in the WRONG MAIL BOX!!! the darlings from @crittervalley.bsky.social are home! The coyote is mine while the fox will travel overseas to @gingerel.bsky.social <3

Federal judge unloads on ‘unserious’ RFK Jr., says anti-trans policy showed his ‘cruelty’ Judge Mustafa T. Kasubhai vacated the “Kennedy Declaration,” finding it unlawfully attempted to override medical standards and restrict care for transgender youth.

Breaking: HHS’s ban on gender-affirming care is struck down. Rarely have I read a ruling this sharply worded.

“This case is one of a long list of examples of how a leader’s wanton disregard for the rule of law causes very real harm to very real people.”

Because we get asked a lot.

The Technological Republic, in brief.

1. Silicon Valley owes a moral debt to the country that made its rise possible. The engineering elite of Silicon Valley has an affirmative obligation to participate in the defense of the nation.

2. We must rebel against the tyranny of the apps. Is the iPhone our greatest creative if not crowning achievement as a civilization? The object has changed our lives, but it may also now be limiting and constraining our sense of the possible.

3. Free email is not enough. The decadence of a culture or civilization, and indeed its ruling class, will be forgiven only if that culture is capable of delivering economic growth and security for the public.

4. The limits of soft power, of soaring rhetoric alone, have been exposed. The ability of free and democratic societies to prevail requires something more than moral appeal. It requires hard power, and hard power in this century will be built on software.

Palantir put out a 22-point summary of their CEO's book The Technological Republic. It's pitched as a defence of the West, but if you read it through the VDA framework, verification, deliberation, accountability, what it's actually doing looks rather different.

MAGA-controlled social media is doing the work of book bans by suppressing support for marginalized authors. If you haven’t seen much from us on TikTok this week, that’s why. Our recent post celebrating and supporting Trans Day of Visibility was shadowbanned. 🧵👇

This series suckered a generation in with "turn into animals!!" And taught us anger and grief and the horror of war. I think that says a lot about some of us now.

Harry Potter tattoo regret rate is an order of magnitude higher than regret for Gender Reassignment Surgery and yet no one has been brave enough to suggest we legislate Harry Potter tattoos.

With the HP trailer dropping tomorrow, here's the whole deal:

If you watch the show, hell even just the trailer, I will think less of you. I will dislike you. I will think you don't care about trans people.

That's it. It's been years. There's no wiggle room. No qualifiers. You care or you don't.

Reminder wrt a certain trailer for a certain show coming out tomorrow that hate views still count towards the only metrics the people marketing this shit care about

Lovely layout! I know that it's almost certainly not, but my heart wants that to be Danny the Brick being a pillow and drink holder.

This is highly important for Americans. The Fed is highly independent and has teeth. This isn't just about art, either, but speech in general. Please comment if you can, and leave your information on your comment if you're willing. They are likely to listen if enough public support shows itself.

People shouldn't want to kill another group just because they exist. I don't--I don't get it. I've never gotten it. How can race, creed, queerness, money... how is any of it ever something that inspires that much hate or fear or greed. How are we back to it so badly?

“Social murder” is a term created by Friedrich Engels to describe the premature death of marginalized people due to political, social, or economic oppression.

What is happening right now in America is the premeditated, calculated, & planned extermination of children who are trans. This is genocide.

First time doing a risograph print, now maybe even more obsessed with riso. Cornflower and florescent magenta are the two colors used!

'Sleeping Beauty,' 'Roger Rabbit' Animator Jane Baer Dies At 91 A world-class animator, producer, studio founder, and a founding member of Women in Animation (WIA) Baer worked with the Nine Old Men and into the digital age.

Jane Baer has died at 91. A titan, she worked on 'Sleeping Beauty,' co-founded Baer Animation, supervised 'Roger Rabbit,' and advocated for her fellow artists. Few careers trace the evolution of late-20th-century American animation as completely.
