... But I can also do some analysis on the data. Right now it's just a little thing that solves a personal problem, and I'm not sure it's worth sharing, but DANG it feels good to be able to run these kinds of experiments with ~ 1-2hrs of effort.

I built something recently (with Claude Code). It's *yet another* top clone, but mine is written in rust and runs in both *nix and windows. It also stores all it's data in an SQLIte database, and includes a panel that let's me basically see load avg for an arbitrary number of processes...

This is where I think the usage of AI really helps accelerate product development safely. Unfortunately some of these concepts are not well exercised in day to day use. I see a lot of growing pains with some seeing very real success.
I'm not a full-time developer in my *day job* anymore, but I'm doing a lot of personal programming with AI -- I'll do a write-up on that soon, but I now feel like I'm working on too many things, and I can't keep them all in my head. Hence this little utility: gist.github.com/bradmontgome...

Finally jumped on the open code bandwagon and I really dig it. Lots more to learn but I was quickly able to hook it up to GitHub copilot & a local Ollama.
