These A&A trays came out really well and worked great during the first play test.
Sadly tho, the Axis soon lost France and parts of the Far East. Some US and UK fleets where destroyed against all odds but to no avail.
Now I just have to #3dprint the trays in wood filament and go for a revanche.
Yay! My first FreeCAD design is now printing (a simple rack for miniature paint).
I'll keep using Fusion for the time being but for simple designs I can use FreeCAD now. It would be nice to migrate eventually. Open source FTW.
It was such a blast to attend #SMRRF again this year. I met so many inspiring people with inspiring projects, I'm still processing 🤩 🤩 🤩
See you again next year! #3dprinting
Only did 2 prints to so far ;-) The adhesion was excellent at 35C. This also means the prints don't pop off by themselves so I had to use a scraper. It was a flat name tag so bending the plate also didn't help. But the stick doesn't seem to be too much. I'm happy with it!
Thank you #Sinterklaas for this FrostBite build plate from BIQU. #3dprinting
Nifty!
I'm really looking forward to SMRRF next weekend! Who's going? #3dprinting
