Buying a domain & launching a website cost a lot so really *anything* helps so I can start earning instead of going into debt

Aid is usually like, direct money that they usually can soend however even if theure meant to spend it a certain way. This can only be spent a specific way & is it really aid if they spend more of their money than we give them?
For Disability Pride Month, you can find some of my NEA-Iowa Arts Council grant winning art here, at The Log Project, which was created out of our climate change disaster in 2020.

Because I started reading Samuel Delany's craft book, I constantly have him in my head asking me, "Do you really need that word? Does it have to be there?"
It's been a wildly effective haunting lol
CBS doesn't give a shit what you think. You can complain to them all you want. Nothing will change. If you complain to their advertisers. If every single person on Blue sky told the CBS advertisers we're not buying your shit anymore then things change. The nation is ruled by money. Not opinion.
And not only are both alt text and mask-wearing things individuals /can/ do, but they are things that individuals /must/ do or else they don't get done.
They aren't needs that can be placed on corporations being responsible for their cleaning up their shit or not poisoning the planet, etc.
The similarity between alt text and mask-wearing as accessibility practices is that they are small things individuals can choose to do to demonstrate care and responsibility toward creating a better world for everyone.
A lot of accessibility stuff is about infrastructure, but these aren't (much).
We're not really giving them aid. it's more like a coupon to buy specific things from specific companies where they get a % off but overall they spend their own money more than what we "give" them. The iron dome is a different story. the money for that helps stop attacks, it's purely defensive.
NY in a very Jewish town. within walking distance of 3 synagogues
Right? Theres been like 5 counts of arson now. What a fun life we're living!! Thankfully my nightmares havent returned.
I actually want to say this really loudly because I am not seeing other non-Jews say it enough.
The Israeli diplomat shooting was an antisemitic hate crime.
Yes, most allegations of antisemitism within the anti-genocide movement are bullshit.
THIS was antisemitism parading as anti-genocide.
Being opposed to the genocidal actions of the Israeli government is not antisemitic.
Protesting its agents isn't antisemitic.
But shooting a Jew who is *at a Jewish museum* is roping Jewish identity itself into the equation of your violence.
And THAT is antisemitic.
Just realized this is basically the adult version of playing dress up with my friends haha Except we're allowed to use sewing machines & sharp scissors.
Medication obtained!
Gonna give myself an hour to calm tf down. Maybe do some sewing stuff bc that always helps
Tfw the anxiety hits you out of nowhere

Mom screaming at dad for over an hour is always a fun start to the day
Thank you!!!
Thank you!!! And perfect for passover!
It's my birthday!!!
Having a lovely migraine today.
Sewing machines are fucking magic. I'm so glad I enjoy sewing again. And am able to sit in chairs for extended periods of time again. (Now for over 2 hours before pain!)
I always forget how fast making stuff is on the sewing machine. I made almost an entire corset today. I stopped bc Finn needed a walk & I was at a non-machine part. But I literally only have like 3 steps left before my mockup is finished? Like how???
Colorful bird in flight in clouds.
Saw this painting on the hotel wall (wasn’t an exhibit, so don’t start asking me for a bunch of info that was not there) and I just like it. I think it’s a barn owl…yeah, gonna go with that, 😏.
Calm down, folks, it was just an attempted assassination of a Jewish Democratic governor and his family on the first night of Passover, it’s not like somebody spray painted a dick on a Cybertruck.
