I used to try to tell my husband what's going on in the books, but I had to give that up because it's either too complicated to explain or I just can't really understand what happened lol.

Currently making my way through Malazan Book of the Fallen. This series is crazy and even though I'm on book 5 I'm still lost about a lot of things that happen, but I can't stop thinking about it.

I've just finished Wind and Truth. This book was a very satisfying end to this first arc. As usual, I laughed, I cried, I jumped up and down in excitement, I was shocked, I was awed.

I liked this too. And I'm not sure if it's intentional but with the explosion being fireworks specifically, it made me think of the chapter The Shadow in the Night in The Great Hunt. When they sneak into the illuminators guild.
