Very much enjoyed seeing James at the O2 last night, especially as they played my favourites Sometimes and Tomorrow! #MusicSky
Lovely crowd too belting out the hits.

Very much enjoyed reading a few articles on your substack - esp the Diamond Mine one. What an album that is - absolutely love it. Persuaded me to buy some more KC stuff, and as several comments on there indicated, there is some great music to explore (KC rules OK, From Scotland with love, etc).
"I was thinking about what a friend had said, and i was hoping it was a lie." is such a bleak (but v. memorable ) line....
So sveryone knows there is an 'extreme' setting now? In case you fancy a trickier challenge....
Picture of the 100 jumps end screen shows 100 jumps completed after 73 attempts.
Triumphant!
I seem to be getting worse though. Haven't done better than 71 since.....
No, no, it's not addictive.....
An infographic titled "The Chemistry of Daffodils" by Compound Interest for C&EN explains the flower's biological makeup. It features a bouquet of yellow daffodils and three main sections. The Aroma section highlights (E)-beta-ocimene for its woody scent, plus 1,4-dimethoxybenzene and (E,E)-alpha-farnesene. The Color section identifies carotenoids like zeaxanthin and beta-carotene. The Poison & Medicine section shows the toxic alkaloid lycorine and galantamine, used to treat Alzheimer's.
Spring is here in the northern hemisphere! Here's a graphic from the #PeriodicGraphic archives in @cenmag.bsky.social looking at the pigments that give daffodils their golden glow: cen.acs.org/articles/93/...

An interesting evening in the Bloomsbury Theatre tonight with an event celebrating 200 years of @ucl.ac.uk and 200 years of @uclchemistry.bsky.social

I say again that anyone who thinks Jews, or any minority group, are better off in a world where senior politicians feel comfortable with overt racism is an idiot of the highest order.
Fantastic album!
What a great choice that was!
Tune!
How is that? It sounds tempting to try. Was a fan of their red wine one last year.
It's great stuff. Spicy and delicious.

The Boo Radleys were my favourite band back in the 1990's. I have more or less everything they did (even the EPs
compiled here and Ichbod and I!).
Or even post first world war....
I was going to go with BaCON.....but yours is better!
It's a great album, but it's not Loveless...which i guess is the opposite of what you are saying. I love them both, but Loveless for me was just something completely amazing when i first heard it....admittedly long after it came out lol!
As with the MeCN though, why would you not write iPrOH as you don't save much space by abbreviating. See also TEA (Et3N), etc.
Absolutely. IPA on draft tastes a lot better than IPA in the lab for some reason.....
Join us and ride the steamroller for the good of all #Chemsky
Considering my feelings re: acetonitrile, i am strangely ambivalent about these and happy to tolerate either variant.....
I would drive that steamroller full speed ahead....*ACN must die*
He was excellent as always. Must be 5th or 6th time we have been to see him- fab:)
Dara O'Briain's stage before the show starts.
Congratulations again Mike:)!
