It’s a basic metric, super simple, but she genuinely didn’t seem to be able to grasp it, and now I have no clue how she graduated college with a business degree.

Despite this, she simply kept insisting that Y-Studio was better at sales because of revenue, ignoring that it’s only because of location, and that relative to traffic, X-studio has WAY better sales.

Realized my boss is way dumber than I thought (and I already thought she was dumb). She displayed a complete lack of understanding on how to judge percentage based KPIs and how they’re relative. Yes X-studio has less overall revenue, but their sales percentage KPIs are better than Y-studio.

It’s one of those games that 100% requires the right people, but if you have those people, it’s the best game in the world. With that said, if you ever have the opportunity to play - absolutely do so!
