We are at the point where we're dealing with tangible conditions here. For some folks it might be the same, but for whoever the fascists are currently targeting the difference is exponential. I'd pick a chronic condition over suddenly becoming terminal.

Look, I entirely understand what you mean philosophically. I don't even really disagree. But under neoliberalism i was able to marry my partner. Under rising fascism we are looking at dual citizenship in case we have to run and worrying about friends being arrested or worse.
