This is one of the worst possible manifestations of "own the libs" I've seen in... *checks notes* days and yet it tracks. Sigh.

I’m so jealous I never thought of anything that cool.

Oh no. That would bother me too.

All this needs now is the WW2-era newsreel voiceover. "There they go! Those brave man and women fighting for freedom and liberty! Down goes another drone! Go get 'em!"

If you tried to write this up as a dystopian SF story, people would call it implausible. But all of this is downright diabolical and frightening.

Public security is one thing. This is far beyond that. This is tyranny and oppression and abuse.

I hope you can make it happen. They'd be a great team! Alien princesses who kick ass and look good doing it. :)

Looking forward to them!
Still wild that Galaxy is running with the League. I'd have expected her to get tapped for a Titans lineup. Has she met Starfire?

"The Captain" sounds just as silly as when Steve Rogers used the name in the '80s.
Captain Marvel is, of course, classic. (And I miss "The Marvel Family" as a group identity.)
Shazam's at least an interestingly unique descriptor.
I think we can all agree that "CM3" for Freddy just sucked though. :)

I'm thrilled you get another GN to continue her story.

I have contacted D2D to tell them I don't consent to their maintenance fee, that I plan to close my account, and to pay out the *checks notes* $0.13 I've accrued through royalties.
Fuck them.

I've gotten a whopping 13 cents of royalties from whatever project I was part of which paid out through D2D and I won't see any payout until it hits $10. D2D holding my money hostage. 😆

Destruction of USAID was unquestionably one of the greatest crimes against humanity ever committed and it has not received nearly enough attention.

There are going to be so many stupid takes using Magyar’s win to argue that Dems should keep tacking center-right, when I think the far bigger takeaway is that “we will go after the people who corruptly destroyed the government” has *extremely* broad appeal

USAID can absolutely be part of that

Old gamers remember this:

Early 50s, grew up on the early Atari and Nintendo systems. I remember cartridges and some Sesame Street game for kids. I played ET. I've seen the console wars. I remember dialup. People don't understand just how long these have been part of ours lives.

Biden preemptively pardoned people to protect them from Trump's revenge tour.

Trump will preemptively pardon people to shield them from all the crimes they've committed. But only if they remain loyal to him. And promise not to testify against him later. Otherwise, they're fucked.

In 1994's PCU, Tom was a "pre-frosh" visiting for the weekend. Less of a campus tour, more of a full-blown disaster. :)
And of course 2000's Road Trip's framing sequence was centered as a campus tour.

In real life, I remember taking a few campus tours in 1992.
