Most people have problems that money could solve instantly. And not a ton of money like lottery wins, just a living wage, reasonable taxes, affordable housing, etc.

Happier people are more productive, caring, and contribute to their communities. We should be funding that.

Isn't it just the saddest state of affairs that our countries have to deal with these losers. Where are the decent leaders? Sure, there's a few, but we should have many, many more. Public office is meant for service, not grifting.

One vital change to the system that needs to be made is that any politician should be subject to financial audit at any time. Add some reasonable parameters to that, but nobody on the public dime should be able to hide their finances.

While a ban seems like a good idea, it's a bandaid, not a solution. The social media landscape as a whole needs to be changed to make it safer for everyone.

Often what is forbidden becomes more attractive, and kids will figure out how to get around it, making things worse not better.
