Book 3
"The End and the Death; Volume II" by Dan Abnett.
Nearly finished.
Have to say it's been a bit of a trudge to get through these final 3 volumes. Can't help thinking editing down to 2 volumes would have been beneficial.
Next is a non-Warhammer novel.

See dog, post dog.
They count.
Does look good, really like how the WE scheme came out on it.
Big fan of Decimators, even though I've got a 3rd yet to convert I'm still tempted to get another one.
Sorting some bits.
Dunno which starter set those markers came from, but they've seen service for years.
Also some cast skull wound markers. The red service studs denote wounds lost.
Both going to be retired from service.
Going to the cinema is a bit pricey nowadays.
18 quid for the ticket alone.
Still, Project Hail Mary was good and def worth seeing on a big screen if possible.
Sounds like a plan.
Definitely, will have to arrange something nearer the day as that place is so packed with people you gave almost no chance of bumping into someone you are looking for.
After missing last year for a family wedding I'll be back there again this year on the Saturday.
Massive blue balls it seems, from the image.
It is a shame we still don't get these statues from FW. I just lost out on a Plaguebearer on eBay a year or two back and i've not forgiven myself since...
Nice to see one being worked on. Such a great looking figure.
Not been up to much hobby of late.
So here is an old pair of rogues, Nik n' Nak.

Creepy looking buggers. Very nice.
Still looking for £160 of orders, if you don't want miniatures just now but can buy a gift voucher, it would help!

I drew this Warhammer Dreadnought as a commission. One of the A3 prints had some inky roller marks on it, so I was going to chuck it.
The lovely person I did the commission for asked if I could give it away in a competition. So if you’re signed up to my print club, you could win this print.
Always a delight to see some of my old posters being put to good use.

four painted 28mm zombie miniatures sculpted by Paul Muller (with modifications by Andy Foster) the top middle one looks like the old Heroquest zombie from the 1980s board game

Trip to Warhammer World Saturday.
Good day out that was needed. Ate too much, spent too much, took a shit load of pictures.
Was good to have a quick chat with @garro30k.bsky.social, while he played in a multi-player game of Necromunda.
Small selection of pics to follow.
Ah, yeah, I remember it now. Cheers.
So much of the OOP terrain goes for stupid money.
@darkfantasticmills.bsky.social does some cracking fortress terrain though.
Some very nice Necromunda terrain in the Guest cabinets.
From White Dwarf or Community articles?

Looks like some poor sod got left behind, meanwhile a dread (a less rounded version) admires the view.
Weren't terminators small...it was nice to see someone playing Space Hulk in the hall. A classic is always a classic.
A "piercing encounter". What fun.

The latest reinforcements are yet to appear amongst the Nurgle forces sallying forth. Guess they are still hanging around inside the castle (which everyone loves as we have established already).

Just goes to show you can't trust a bit of ancient stonework deep in the forest. Bound to wake up and disgorge a bunch of sadist pricks when you least expect it.
At least one of the poor sods on the ground had the sense to hide behind a tree.
