The show is designed for a "second screen". Everything is spelled out, narrated by the computer, and explained by the characters just so you can scroll TikTok without missing anything.

The glasses bother me way less than expected. Holly Hunter does a great job with the Captain Nahla Ake character. Same is true for Karim Diané (the Klingon cadet Jay-Den Kraag) actually.

Easter eggs should reward attention, not derail the scene. In Starfleet Academy they're so obvious and out of place they kill immersion for a cheap laugh.

All I was trying to find out is: what alternative car do you think people SHOULD buy. I'm not trying to stop you. I'm trying to find a better alternative.
And that is true for both, ICE vehicles (internal combustion engine) and ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement). I do not think that boycotting Tesla is doing anything to stop either from hurting more people unfortunately.
And you don't fight fascism by taking out Tesla... You help the oil and gas industry. You help legacy car manufacturers to roll back EV efforts. Taking out Tesla would be one of the worst things you could do for the environment. And I don't think it would put a dent in fascist tendencies... :(
But it's so much more complicated. Teslas are one of the few cars that can actually make a positive difference. I do understand your point. I think it comes from a very good place in your heart. But a friend just bought a gasoline car because Elon is a racist and I don't think that's helpful either.
But what if all alternatives are even worse? Won't that make the world an even more horrible place? Isn't that something you need to consider in a boycott?
Boycotting all cars? Yes. But that's not what you are achieving or even trying to achieve. You are singling out one brand.
You still haven't answered my question tho. What product SHOULD people buy?
But what are you for then? The car isn't fascist. The employees aren't racist. The CEO is. But most of Elon's wealth is in SpaceX. Fighting against affordable electric cars isn't great if you can't point people towards an alternative product. So my question stands: what are you for?
Can't tell if that's supposed to be satire or not. 🙃 Anyways: don't yell people what to be against. Tell them what to be for. What car should they buy to help fight climate change? Rivian and Lucid aren't affordable yet. EVs from other brands support companies that mainly sell ICE vehicles. 🥴

They did edit their FAQ wording, blades will be purchasable in game this summer. That's not good enough, but at least they are talking at headquarters. 🫠 My main worry is not necessary selling early access, but selling ship improvements for money at all. I thought that's what crafting was for.
