Lauren Tomasi, a U.S. Correspondent for 9News Australia, was injured earlier today while covering the ongoing demonstrations and civil unrest in Downtown Los Angeles. She was shot at close range with a rubber bullet fired by an officer from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
