Not knowing what the worst people in the world were thinking every fucking day

Oops I did math wrong. My dad is actually 79 now so the percentage is even funnier now.
This reminds me of the post I kept meaning to make over the last few weeks saying that if the Democratic establishment doesn't shut up and then my 78 year old father has to ask me who Hasan Piker is, I'm going to lose it.

don't know if this is tiny hail or graupel happening on the north side of Chicago but it is happening

Me, two minutes ago: I don't really care about any new Sanrio characters.
Me, now: I would die for Mop, the polar bear boy who is always wrapped in his favorite blanket.
it'd be a really funny bit if you did

Nicole Kidman, Sandra Bullock, and Lee Pace on a train? You best believe I'm there.
I'm so glad you got to do that. I remember so clearly (probably around the same time you did) reading (and re-reading) exactly those passages and getting a strange thrill and feeling conflicted about getting that thrill and what it meant.
Desmond Morris was very important to me because he wrote about gay people in his book The Naked Ape and it was the first time I'd ever read or heard a description of gay people that wasn't sneering or judgemental. It was thrilling.
About 40 years later I had a chance to tell him so.
RIP Mr Morris
Some things I believe so deeply that I realize I don't even process them as conspiracy theories; this is definitely one of them.
(And I know I'm far from the only Chicagoan who feels this way.)
They did it. Theyโve really finally recreated the experience of trying to enjoy superhero comics. This is the most expensive โ[Ish #215 -Ed.]โ ever brought to pass
Literally all men want to do is earnestly run Morning Glory Orphanage in Okinawa for the rest of their natural lives.
Happy birthday Skokie Swift, a successful pilot project weโve never attempted to replicate since
A is Porky Pigging
B is Donald Ducking
(I did not realize I had this opinion until you asked but this is definitely what I believe.)
With all due respect, wearing my own culture studies hat I'd say this is overly nostalgic and ignores how much silly, dumbass culture of the past has just been left in the dust because it wasn't worth remembering to anyone who wasn't a specialist

I can't exactly explain why but this feels like it is bullying me specifically
I encourage this wholeheartedly
It has been my thought for a while that 55% of the country hopes It Happens every day and 40% would do it at their own hand if they wouldn't get caught, and I'm starting to think my estimates were conservative.
A cookbook entitled "The Big Beautiful Book of Hors D'oeuvres" by Julia Weinberg. There are a lot of 1980s style appetizers pictured
So I don't think I'm gonna "Julie and Julia" my way through this 1980 cookbook I picked up at the thrift store...but maybe I will.
They're like a team owner who is just happy to host one home playoff series a year and pick up the extra gate revenue. Fans can't complain too much because they're "competitive."
