I have been without a voice since Thanksgiving & it is beyond frustrating. I asked AI to create an image of a skeleton Pilates teacher depicting this frustration of not being able to teach her online Pilates classes. This is pretty much spot on. Gives me more gratitude for when my voice returns.

This is cool.We incorporate standing postural sway with eyes open/closed in many of our classes as part of our “check in” before getting into the “meat” of the workout. Especially fun in our “Konnect the Dots” classes where we incorporate a gentle axial load with a resistance band. #pilates #posture

I’ve never had a problem speaking to groups when I remember that the presentation is about THEM not about me. They don’t care what I am wearing or what I look like. They are there hoping that the talk/speech will motivate, inspire, or help them solve a problem they have that I can help with.

This past week, I have been glued to the computer since our studio is doing a software switch. My body feels it. “Ergonomic desks”
are a joke if sitting, slightly more tolerable if standing. I’m grabbing my computer and hitting the floor where I can vary my movement as I work and think. #officebod
