When I was young they didn't have child car seats. They just threw me in the back of the El Camino.

Actually mine was spotted from a blood test, CA 9-99 followed by an immediate operation. 1% survival chance in 2019 but thanks to all find raisers it’s now 13%. Keep going. We’re winning!
Cool, oft-overlooked debut. Always loved this album.
What's a listening party?
Don't forget Splitting Heirs!
New addition to my collection, The World's First Goldfish Bowl Picture Disc. Monty Python's 'Galaxy Song', b/w 'Every Sperm is Sacred'. Special thanks to @jontrevithick.bsky.social for pointing out its availability.
Suitable for framing!

I'll soon find out. Thanks, JP.
Golf ball sized hail. Some the size of baseballs. Every automobile parked on the airport surface lot suffered major damage. Large dents, cracked windshields. Including my own.
How much is my deductible, again?
Sonny & Cher sang I Got You Babe, but that didn't last. Captain & Tennille sang Love Will Keep Us Together, but did it? One thing for sure is the ampersand didn't keep either of 'em together!
Sure, I can see that. But Old Testament vs. New Testament is quite different.
It's a pity the God of the Old Testament has been a bit too forgiving these days. Especially with our rich and corrupt powerful.
But then there's the whole camel through the eye of a needle thing. There is comfort there.
But there was no Christ in the Old Testament. And the God of the Old Testament would have smitten the Dotard dead.
I was hoping you would ask. I knew where you were coming from. Despite the thought that some of us are good and some of us are not, how do we ultimately differentiate?
Thanks. It's an old joke of mine (Or so I think? There's nothing new under the sun, as they say.) but one that resurfaces every now and then with customers connecting from Finnair.
Always gets a laugh out of the customer.
Yes.
I just filed a delayed bag claim for a passenger who flew in from Helsinki. His bag seemed to have vanished into Finnair.
No, another couple of months for fresh locally-grown strawberries from our fields. Seems like forever.
Well, it sounds delicious. I remember eating rhubarb raw as a kid. With salt. Or was it sugar? Either way, I don't think I could do it now!
Are rhubarb and strawberries in season in your neck of the woods?
Yeah, it was like really busy.
I walked into Grand Central Station once and it was like Grand Central Station there!
I love that theater. Played it once. Totally deafening response. Why I insisted we try out Spamalot in Chicago. Just up the street a mile - lovely painting.
Hey, I was fortunate enough to have been there. Chicago Theatre, June 6, 2000. On your Exploits Monty Python tour. I got the Special Advance Purchase Opportunity promo months prior on your Road to Mars book tour at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater on Navy Pier.
Great show!
I agree!
Soggy Old Blondes is hilarious.
That's a lot of listening. I've done it!
I had to set up a passenger's delayed bag for delivery to Long Grove, Illinois. No idea where it was, so I checked Google Maps. Apparently there is a Sock Monkey Museum there!
Thought you all would want to know.
Sometimes when I see a plane turning off the taxiway and making its way to the gate I like to imagine it's a shark coming closer to shore. And then I like to imagine it grabbing one of the ground crew and shaking them like a wet rag and eating them.
The guy I handed my phone to, I KNEW he looked awfully familiar. Only later did I find out.
Not the best picture of Dirk, Stig and I. But hey, photo by Steve Ferrone!

Eighty-three years ago today in Harton Hospital, South Shields: "Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Idle, it's a Python."
Happy Birthday, @ericidle.bsky.social!
Well done. Makes me happy, too.
