Luna the three-legged tortoiseshell cat is licking and chewing a chicken leg bone. She has a scrunched up face partly from enjoying the chicken, partly from the concentration.
Luna vs. Chicken.
A 1.1kg jar of gherkins. With can of drink for scale and a tiny model of a cat for no good reason.
Anyone know some recipes that use a lot of gherkins? Just curious.
A little milk jug with raised handles on either side, making it look like it's raising its arms in joy.
Happy milk jug.
Wait, this board game tricked me into doing hard sums. What the heck?
A large, generally worn and buffered black courier bag promoting the 1994 video game Micro Machines 2. It looks cheap and has the words "Bigger Better Faster Meaner" written on it in capital letters (which is a bold claim for a game about driving tiny, cute toy cars around on the floor of a child's bedroom).
One of the most useful things I have ever owned is this promotional courier bag for Micro Machines 2 on the Sega Genesis. You're the best 32-year-old bag. Thank you.
I used to think I had trouble explaining what I did for living to my family, but you're on a different level...
The uncanny terror of Faceless Paddington Bear.
A screen grab of a WhatsApp notification that reads "0 new messages".
That's pretty cold WhatsApp...
I did wonder if that was a crazy coincidence or not...
A handwritten sign outside a café that reads "Enjoy Our! Gluten free every Thursday" The last four words are underlined. A selection of coloured chalk has been used.
Wait, what?
Discworld Live on stage.
Happy Hogswatch everyone.
An NPC stat block from an Alien RPG book. Under the section 'age' it reads "40 (it's his birthday)".
If you think that's going to make me treat your NPC any kinder, then you're wrong.
Fergus is a slightly older cat, mostly white with some spots of tabby patterns. He is sitting upright, staring of into the distance. He is great. We all like Fergus.
Local gent, Fergus.
Dozens of small, resin gaming miniature lined up, each one in a different colour.
Finally got the entire set of pieces from Tang Garden painted up and vanished. Lovely range of colours from the mighty Two Thin Coats range.
The cover of Send Away The Tigers by Manic Street Preachers. It shows two women walking in front of a bridge. One is dressed slightly like a fairy, the other as a devil.
A printed note, half poking out of an envelope. The note is headed "Park Hyatt Tokyo" and reads "From: Mr. Harris. Message: Are you awake?"
Are you awake?
Until it was no more.
"It's hot."
"Yes."

Would it be fine for someone to treat themselves and buy all the Underworld back catalogue on vinyl? Asking for a friend.
I just managed to get a 25 year old Wacom tablet working on Windows 11. Unsure if I should feel proud or sad that this is my Saturday afternoon.
A laminated photo of a walrus, with the caption 'walrus' above it, lays on a pavement. It's a little dirty and there are some leaves and a patch of grass nearby. Someone must have lost this. It is alone. Poor walrus.
Walrus.
I'll be there. Maybe bump into you for a catch up at some point!
Two books sitting on a blanket. The larger one on the left is Vaesen by Johan Egerkrans, and on the right is Terra Obscura by Alan Moore, Peter Hogan, Yanick Paquette and Karl Story.
If there's a theme to tonight's reading, then I'm damned if I know what it is...
Two pigeons standing on a park railing, staring directly into the lens with a slightly threatening demeanor. The front one is puffed up a bit, and the one behind him is peeking over his shoulder with a look that sounds like "yeah, get 'em boss!"
Getting intimidated by the dirty pigeons...
A single prawn toast, on the edge of a plate. The prawn's tail is curled up over its body, and a dark sesame seed resembles an eye. It could be a crap Pokemon. Probably from a later generation or something.
Little bit worried that my prawn toast is actually a Pokemon...
Looking up at pink blossom in a tree on a slightly grey morning.
On the way to the tube today I saw seven cats. No one can tell me that this is not a great day.
A swan, close up and staring into the camera menacingly. They want bread. Very much.
Bread friend.
Latte art that looks like a snail. Mostly. I mean, it's really good, but it does have a beak for some reason.
Snail.
