Midfielder #JacobHopper has copped a bit of scrutiny but credit where it's due. That was a brilliant performance vs Gold Coast. He had 8 clearances, the most for us. Used the ball well too.

Impressed by the air of confidence in our young draftees Luke Trainor, Jasper Alger & Tom Sims at Club 80 last night.
They all seemed like lads who had an inner belief in their abilities.
Luke has already started really well as we know.

Biggest concern IMO in the first scratch match was a noticeable lack of leg speed. We looked genuinely slow & having watched some other games those fears were heightened. Particularly when the ball was loose.
If the Pies run rings around us again tonight it doesn't bode well..🐯
