그 해 8월 말, 제주를 다시 찾아 가족들과 식사를 하던 때였다. 뉴스에서 "제주 4.3은 폭동이다."는 발언이 나왔다. 누가 이런 망언을 하나 보니 김문수였다. 속에서 화가 치밀어 올랐다. 이 아픔과 분노를 절대 잊어서는 안 된다는 생각만 들었다.
