Sunday Times headline from March: Reform's Richard Tice avoided nearly £600k in tax
Despite receiving dividends, the companies paid zero tax in 2019, 2020 and 2021 for reasons that Tice said related to wider losses suffered by the groups. Although no such information appears in their accounts, he said: “The accountants advise on this and sign the audit and they are top drawer so I trust them.”
Richard Tice had a different explanation for why no tax was paid when he spoke to the Sunday Times last month.
Tice's statements here are all incorrect.

What should have happened: the REIT paid no tax but the Tice companies holding shares in the REIT paid £98k tax on the dividends they received.
What actually happened: none of the companies paid any tax.
Our new report: Richard Tice signed accounts wrongly claiming £98,000 of tax exemptions

The Telegraph just gave a convicted criminal a two-page spread to explain why he's pumping £4 million into Reform UK. They tucked his criminal record away in the small print. So as a former financial crime specialist I’ll do their job for them👇

I'm so confused how that has been allowed to happen. We're outworked in most games, so it's not like he can point to a relentless level of intensity over the course of the season.

Israel's continued strikes in Lebanon are undermining any hope of peace.
The UK must act now: sanction Benjamin Netanyahu and his security cabinet, and halt all UK arms exports to Israel.
We must also finally proscribe the IRGC and support multilateral plans to disarm Hezbollah.

Deeply depressing that, on Lebanon, media is focussed on the technical wording of the ceasefire deal - rather than pointing out that killing 100s of civilians in their homes is a war crime and abomination either way.

But behind the scenes, Israeli officials have conveyed a more targeted message.
In private calls to local leaders across southern Lebanon, Israeli military officials have assured several Christian and Druse communities that they could remain in the evacuation zone. They have pressed them, however, to force out any Lebanese from neighboring Shiite Muslim communities who have sought refuge among them as Israeli bombardment flatten Shiite towns, according to local Christian, Druse and Shiite leaders who spoke to The New York Times. The Shiites make up the majority of southern Lebanon.
So what this describes is ethnic cleansing www.nytimes.com/2026/04/01/w...

I get why people say this, it's powerful, but he did start with camps. Dachau opened in March 1933, the book burnings were 2 months later. He purged the judiciary in April 1933. Nazism was a violent movement from the start, street violence was crucial from day one, even before he got to power.

Screenshot of Times piece with headline "Millions to be denied hospital referrals in drive to cut waiting lists."
🧵/ The NHS is about to undergo one of the most radical – and scandalous - changes in its history.
From 1st April (the public are the fools in this), GPs will be contractually obliged to seek remote “advice & guidance” from hospital clinicians, making it even harder to see an NHS specialist.
