Needed a Disney Day

Just relived our 20's.
Europe's rail system has nothing on Japan's. The trains were to the minute on time, EVERYTIME! You can set your watch to them. Not only are they punctual, they are gorgeous! We got to ride a couple of their premier trains and they did not disappoint. Also, they are pin drop quiet. No joke!
In Kyoto, we went to Arashiyama Monkey Park. It was a bit of a hike up there, but sooooo worth it.
Tokyo is a trip! It is a megalopolis. Wall to wall buildings no shorter than 6 stories. But in the midst of all of that, there are pockets of beauty and serenity.
(PSA, also with all this extreme density, it is sooooo quiet. No noisy engines, NO honking, no random yelling. So peaceful)
While in Shinjuku, we visited Golden Gai, a block of tiny alleyways, filled with hundreds of 10-butt-bar stalls. We entered one that led us up a narrow stairwell, to a bar where we were introduced to White Sake where bits of rice were suspended in a sweet milky boozy liquid. It was Heaven!
And, yep, that is Godzilla on top of that building.
This is in Kubukicho, which had a lot of izikayas (bars) and questionable "hostess" bars with a lot of "love" hotels around.
I have been back from Japan for a bit. So, I am going to start posting some pics of my favorite places, activities and things from my trip here. Get ready!
Mt. Fuji region is amazing. Please visit Kawaguchiko.
Posting the things that make me extraordinarily happy.

This! He nails it on explaining what is going on with Musk.
So, I was hesitant to sign up for this "Blue Sky" thing at first. But, I am addicted to scrolling through social media, AND I can't stand Zuckerberg's smug face sitting with IT anymore.
Now that I am here, I love it! Breathe of fresh air!๐
