Excited to have a poem in issue 6! Look at all these other goodies ๐
People deserve clean water. We deserve clean air. We shouldnโt be forced to work in these dangerous circumstances we are forced into every day. Because yes, even vaccinated people get long covid. We have water filtration. We could have air filtration too. We have to demand it.
Regret to inform that I am going to have to read my first ben lerner book in order to learn why my spouse is so obsessed with the man that we had to go to 5 bookstores to find his new book.
Ugh.
Ugh!!!!

I'm sure there will be no long-term consequences to all of us veering between hypervigilance over potential nuclear war and trying to go to work because none of us can afford to pay our bills and may still be trying to recover from health consequences from the pandemic we're pretending didn't happen
Struggling with the work/WW3 balance.
Yep!

Erin's hand holding a pink sticker in a hexagon shape. The sticker says pickleball is a cult in white letters with a bright yellow planet with rings around it. In the background is a white desk with a laptop, a glass of water, notebooks, and pens.
A hand holding a green/yellow water bottle out over a brown table full of plants. The water bottle has a bright pink sticker on it that says pickleball is a cult with a bright yellow planet with rings around it. Birkenstock sandals can be seen in the bottom right corner of the photo.
My pickleball sticker has been popular at zine fests/tabling lately... tis the season, I guess ๐ช๐ช๐ช
They're $3 if you need one! Send me a message, I don't have my online shop up these days.
Heard there's a trend of making blackout poems from rejection letters... I have a whole bunch of them! Accept/Reject is a split zine featuring erasures sourced from my rejections on one side and my acceptances on the other) ๐ฏ www.antiquatedfuture.com/zines/accept...

Lol I posted this then promptly disappeared into zine fest world. I'll send a link when they're available to buy online! Thanks for the boost ๐
I'll bring one to a Rochester thing for you! It was a fun project (and since the essay was already done, not as time consuming to put together!)
Thanks! I guess I wasn't ready to let her go quite yet... ๐
It was awesome to meet you! I gotta dive into the Xness archives and read your essay ๐
A drawing of a green moth reading a zine, highlighting the 518 Zine Fest on March 28 from 12-4PM in Albany, NY. The moth's wings have all of the tablers listed, and the Albany skyline can be seen in the background.
A spread from Erin's zine on heteronormativity and Paula Cole's Where Have All The Cowboys Gone showing a woman on a horse going off a cliff with men chasing her. Erin is holding the zine in her room, you can see her feet and some other zines on the floor.
518 Zine Fest tomorrow! I turned my @marchxness.bsky.social essay into a zine and I'll have some copies there โค๏ธโ๐ฅ
green-toned flier for 518 Zinefest with the names of all vendors written on the wings of a Mothman-type illustration. the fest information reads "March 28th, 12-4PM. South End Children's Cafe, 33 Rensselaer Ave, Albany, NY."
getting excited for 518 Zinefest this weekend (not least because my table is adjacent to all my faves ๐) I'll be debuting the Lost Coast zine in print & might have a few other surprises on Green Street Press's table... see you there?
dooo itttt
Oooo funky - thank you!
