My mom gets a thousand a month from SSI to live on and Texas only gives her $99 for food. How much nutritious food is that supposed to buy? 😂

If they want to encourage SNAP recipients to eat healthier, you'd think they'd give them more than $99 for a whole month, rather than telling them they can't buy a Coke with the $99 anymore. 🙄

I could have sworn my mom was the one who taught me to wrap a wet paper towel around a can and put it in the freezer to get it cold much faster but when I did this to a can of Coke for her a few weeks ago, she said she'd never heard of this trick, and now I have no idea where I learned it.
