You cannot go more left by removing yourself as a constituent of a major party. The reason the GOP went further right is to pander to their most loyal voter bloc. The most loyal Dem voter bloc are centrists and milquetoast libs, at the moment -- so that's whom they'll pander to.

How would she instruct them to do that while simultaneously not being aware of it? 🤔

Also, if you read the article, it was not her making that argument, it was one of many attorneys in her department at the time, who, and I know this will come as a shocker, do not run every single argument they would ever present in court by her.

I did specifically say her voting record (in the Senate), not her AG job... Besides, worry about Bernie striking down the pediatric cancer funding bill just a couple of months ago.

Tell that to conservatives, who party line voted from the center- to far-right party. There are only two (electable) parties in the US, you can either participate and help shift the Overton window OR not participate and help shift the Overton window. And not choosing to participate is still a choice

You can always look up her voting record while she was a senator, you know that, right? She has a more progressive voting record than Bernie Sanders.
