The Barr Brothers are just masterful songwriters, and their song “Burn Card” is a perfect example of why they are so great at their craft; the extended poker metaphors never feel forced, and meaning is never sacrificed for cleverness. Plus it just sings beautifully!

Her song “Storm Clouds” is an incredible piece of songwriting; the specificity in her lyrics, that incredible repeating bridge/coda, not to mention her performance. It’s all just perfect:
