By Request POTD Jim Rowinski. Purdue F drafted 86th in 84 by UTA but played in minors til stints w/DET, PHI& MIA from 89-90 (2.5 ppg, 1.5 rpg). Returned to minors from 90-97. Per report below "a Mahorn clone, relying on muscle rather than finesse but D is questionable." Died in 2024. RIP.

Bonus Hollander POTD Lamond Murray. Cal SF drafted 7th by LAC in 94. Good scorer for LAC + CLE. Peaked at 16.6 ppg in 01-02. Missed 02-03 w/foot injury + was not the same after. Played 3 more yrs w/TOR + NJ but was bench guy+ FG% fell. Played in China + Bahrain from 06-11.

Bonus Hollander POTD Eric Money. Arizona G was 1 of the 1st teenage NBAers, drafted 33rd by DET in 74. Good scorer, peaked at 18.6 ppg in 77-78. Out of NBA by 80 at age-24. Famously scored for both teams in one game (PHI+NJ) when the game was replayed after a protest.
Robinson is one of only two modern players I could find who played over 80 games in the NBA but had a 1-year NBA career, the other being Juan Carlos Navarro. Ironically, they both left the NBA for Spain. Here is a list of players with 80-82 game careers ranked by WS:
