18 July Good numbers of Frog Orchids around Gullane Point at Aberlady Bay LNR today - including a couple of tiny plants in the patches of very short grass @ukorchids.bsky.social

18 July Great morning at Aberlady Bay with huge numbers of Sand Martins headlining. 100 feeding over the Marl Loch, at least 1200 roosting on/near the sand-spit and yet more heading W past Gullane Point later on. Also 6 Blackwits, 3 Greenshank, 2 Common Sandpipers and a Golden Plover #birdinglothian

16 May - Great to see so many Painted Lady butterflies in 2025. 6 were nectaring on Sea Rocket, along with 10+ Red Admirals, at Yellowcraigs beach, East Lothian this morning - with another couple in the dunes nearby @savebutterflies.bsky.social
