my personal position is that the right thing to do is to vote and - because the republican party is so completely world-destroyingly insane - to vote for the democrats

but you simply cannot change minds on this by scolding people

I have been online and arguing about politics for nearly twenty five years and not once have I ever seen anyone respond to vote scolding with anything but "fuck you"

if you want to be mad at people for not voting, sure, knock yourself out

if you want them to vote next time, try a different tactic
