Lights, camera, action ... @ OPA! Gr 2 Ss drew the monsters & personalities. Gr 5/6 Ss recreated them with clay & built sets for their stop motion animation movies, complete with dialogue & music. Tomorrow our monsters come to life through voice recordings using @Scratch & @makeymakey
It's the realization that learning happens in both active moments & quiet contemplation or frustration. Natural inclination to figure things out, request help/feedback to move forward. It may come with buttons, buzzers & bells. It produces the most authentic learning. Hands on is minds on in action.

Always π when a class builds on our TILT sessions. 1st classmates sleuthed their way to match description notes to Canva created images. Then Ss added their reasons for every choice through story writing. Way to go grade 5's!
