Happy New Year! We have been super busy since coming back from the Christmas holidays. We have been learning all about Scottish landmarks and making tartan by weaving paper 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Buddy Time Halloween Party! We enjoyed playing Halloween themed games and dancing to spooky songs with our P1 buddies this morning! 👻🎃 @misspenn-bps.bsky.social @missmci-bps.bsky.social @missmcguckinbps.bsky.social

On Friday, our buddies showed us how to use the app ScratchJr. We had so much fun and can’t wait to use it on our iPads in class!

On Friday, we celebrated Roald Dahl Day 📚 Inspired by Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, we designed our own golden tickets and invented exciting new chocolate bars 🍫 Our buddies helped us do this on the iPads!

We have been learning about capacity and describing containers as full, half full or empty. We had lots of fun practising this at our ‘lemonade stand’ and in the sandpit.

Last week, our class was surprised with a visit from the Helicopter Fairy, who left us special story jotters 🚁🧚. We created our own stories and brought them to life on stage!
