The first mission, currently planned for 2027, will feature a dedicated deployment from a medium-lift launcher in LEO, followed by Helios transferring the 4-ton-class payload directly to GEO within eight hours of launch.
The agreement provides opportunity for additional missions.

Another milestone toward a fully assembled development tank. Built to carry over 13,000 kg of propellant, Helios is engineered for direct insertion to MEO, GEO, and beyond.
🚀 During launch, forces from acceleration put serious stress on COPVs. To ensure reliability, we run "external loads" testing by pressurizing the tank & applying static loads of over 10,000 pounds with a hydraulic actuator—validating the article can handle well beyond the harshest flight conditions.
Our friction stir welder is putting in work to fuse the barrel section of Helios, Impulse's high-energy kick stage.
