Found the buttons to disable generative AI in Adobe Reader (acrobat>preferences>generative AI) and the Adobe Chrome extension (three dots at top>preferences>generative AI).
Now I no longer have to be annoyed at Adobe asking if it can do my reading and synthesizing for me!

So, um, I've just fully planned and prepped my first (of three) fall classes. 😬 To be fair, this is the class I've taught most often and I'm not changing much this time around, so recycling lectures and powerpoints is easy!
And also because this country doesn’t actually like women, so there will be no real consequences for this behavior. 😒😒😒
And like, I do not care about men’s hockey at all, but I watch basically every PWHL game (except Minnesota; boo transphobes), so I don’t think they’re showing up and I’m somehow missing it. I think they’re just not showing up. Because they don’t actually like women.
So like, it seems pretty clear that men’s hockey teams are inviting these PWHL players as PR, to say, “hey, look! We like women!” But they’re not actually SUPPORTING the women by going to their games or highlighting their accomplishments.
A thing I have noticed in the wake of the misogyny at the Olympics is that PWHL players are showing up at lots of men’s hockey games, usually with much fanfare by the hosting team. But what is NOT happening is men’s hockey players showing up at PWHL games.
