Yeah, gothic geometry stuff like this is all compass and straightedge. Very deliberate curves

Then I made a little biplane
Some geometry stuff tonight

Yup, loads more complicated examples
It's me, I'm the formless voice
Some geometry stuff tonight
Using a decent Thai green paste is a great way to find out that Blue Dragon brand paste tastes of NOTHING in comparison, ever since I stopped using it my curries are a million times better
They sure can (at least that's the plan)
eyyyy
today I made a boat
This is why my image posts have no longer have alt text. Bluesky literally won't let me do it
I started square, then hit a stride of cinematic aspect images, before back to square, and now I do tend towards 4x5. Part of that is because I like tall framing, looks good in a wall, but certainly also because it plays well with a scrolling feed. That aspect is definitely a little sad
I fully recommend touching a nice tree in the woods and thanking it for its service, unless it's a scots pine in an awful plantation, then we tell it to fuck off
And some voles, lots of cute voles
It can't replace my favourite spot but I did get to see some bluebells and pat some trees today
Always, it's music so bad you have to have a terrible personality to enjoy it
Right? Always the same god damn thing. Same with shitty drivers. The same obnoxious music with the same obnoxious personalities. Seems to be universal.
Why is it the kind of neighbour that obnoxiously blasts music out is the same kind that always has the shittest taste? Oh some shitty dance mix made for gyms of some other exciting song? Daring today aren't we
I miss my woods
Thanking old me for having already implemented the movement mechanics, stats, pickups, upgrades, basic enemies, I just never glued it all together. I seem to have a lot of old projects like that where the bones work, I just never put them to use
Give it a level mesh and some polish and I could have a genuine working prototype, which feels good
The project was from back when unity still had numbered versions (which they've only just returned to), but with a bit of work I stuck it all into a recent Unity version, converted stuff to use some of the newer tools, and it just... works.
It's complex tiled floors for me, I love making grids like that. That and long arcades of arches of course
Yeah I get that. I suppose it can feel like busywork, a lot like line art does for me perhaps? For me it scratches something to spend ages manually drawing out a tiled floor in perspective, there's a joy to making that feeling of depth pop out of a page
Years since I opened any Unity projects, but deadlines met successfully means free time for me among the chaos, and I've opened up an old Star Fox style rail shooter project. I put it down years ago because I got stuck on something, but I'm the past 24 hours I solved it, haven't lost my skills
For a serious answer, it's really just having good perspective fundamentals. Most buildings are just boxes with bits cut out or more boxes on top. At least for American cities, they're also sometimes on a regular grid! You just keep adding more and more boxes in perspective, et voilà, a city
so how's the vibe coding going guys
Big difference between my phone being rained on and it not being rained on too
You can't fucking stop me
