Have you tried removing the outer layer / coating on MSA outserts with oven cleaner? Seems to be a common trick in the model painting community which I might try next.

I did manage to get a SLIGHT tint with RIT Dyemore and acetone

@mariinightingale.com i'd be very interested in going in on custom production with you. If you haven't already pulled the trigger on that run, it would be awesome to have a stock pile of these to add to masks.

I'm actively working on how to tint MSA lenses. So far they're remarkably impervious 😞

Film will be tough due to the curve, so i really want dye to work, next experiment will be RIT synthetic fabric dye in true boiling water for 5 min
